Bio

What is your educational background? I have my Bachelors degree in Human Development and Family Studies, as well as my teaching license in Early Childhood Education with an Elementary Education endorsement, which I received from Colorado State University. I also attended Semester At Sea through the University of Virginia.   What is your favorite subject? Reading, Math, and Art   What do you like best about teaching? Teaching reading is my passion. It's an amazing feeling to watch a child learn how to read. The entire world opens up to them. I also try to integrate art into various areas whenever possible.   How do you prepare students to meet future challenges? I encourage my students to solve their problems on their own, whether they are academic or social challenges. I believe this promotes independence and helps instill confidence in themselves for the future.
