I am so excited for my second year at Legacy! My Bachelor’s degree is in Sociology from Colorado State University with a concentration in Criminal Justice. After trying out my first career as a juvenile case worker I decided that I needed a positive and more rewarding career. Since I have always been a lifelong learner and passionate about children I decided to get my teaching license and Master’s degree from University of Northern Colorado in Elementary Education. I have now taught for thirteen years. My first seven years I taught first and second grade. After that, I taught third and fourth grade in Adams 12 School District for five years.
On a personal note, I am a Colorado native. I moved from my hometown of Fort Collins ten years ago and now reside in Erie with my husband. Throughout the year, you will hear stories about my sweet and always hungry three-year-old, Braxton, and my ornery but sensitive five-year-old, Bryant.
